Rat bait stations · housings
Rat bait stations lockable housings for PCOs, distributors and brands
Rat bait stations are the backbone of exterior rodent programs for pest control operators — and an increasingly common retail item. TrapForge manufactures empty, lockable rat bait station housings with keys, bait rods, trays, anchor points and room for a snap trap or glue board, in your color and with your logo. We do not supply rodenticides.
- Lockable lid with plastic or metal keys
- Bait rods, tray, snap-trap and glue-board mounts
- UV-stabilized PP / ABS / HIPS in your color
- Anchor holes and paver / wall mounting options
Rat bait station design features
- Entries: two entries with baffles, sized for rats; low-profile tunnel shape so rodents run through.
- Lock: key-lock lid (plastic or metal key) or tool-lock; hinge or fully removable lid.
- Interior: vertical or horizontal bait rods for block baits, a tray for loose bait, and mounts that hold a snap trap or glue board insert for non-toxic monitoring.
- Mounting: anchor holes for ground spikes, wall brackets or a concrete paver base.
- Inspection: optional clear inspection window, barcode / QR label area for PCO service logging.
Hardware only
We supply housings and their hardware, not baits. Any rodenticide or bait used in the station must comply with the buyer’s market regulations, and labeling of bait products stays with the registrant or brand owner. Many PCOs also use these stations purely with snap traps or glue boards. On tamper resistance: we build lockable designs to your specification and do not claim compliance with any regulatory test by default.
Materials and color
Outdoor rat stations are typically UV-stabilized PP or ABS, with HIPS as a lower-cost option for indoor use. Wall thickness and rib design determine stiffness. Black, gray, green and beige are the common discreet colors; custom brand colors are quoted per color run. See the housing materials guide.
Who buys rat bait stations

Frequently asked questions
Do your rat bait stations come with bait?
No. We supply empty housings. Any bait must comply with your market’s regulations.
Are your stations tamper-resistant?
We build lockable, tamper-resistant designs to the specification you give us (wall thickness, locking method, entry size, anchoring). We do not claim compliance with any regulatory tamper-resistance test by default; if your market requires testing, test reports can be discussed on request where available.
Can the station hold a snap trap or glue board?
Yes — snap-trap mounts and glue board inserts are available for non-toxic use.
Can you supply keys separately?
Yes — spare keys and accessories are available as separate SKUs.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also packaging & MOQ guide.
Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?
We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner. Test reports can be discussed on request where available — ask on the inquiry form.
