Pantry moth traps folding glue traps with lure holders, packed under your brand

Pantry moths are one of the most searched household pest problems, and the go-to answer is a small folding glue trap with a pheromone lure. TrapForge manufactures the trap — printed board, glue floor, lure holder and packaging — and configures lures to comply with your market’s regulations, so you can launch a pantry moth trap SKU under your own brand.

  • Folding delta and tent traps that ship flat
  • Non-drying glue floor with optional count grid
  • Lure pocket or lure-on-glue designs
  • Kitchen-friendly print and retail multipacks

What a pantry moth trap is

A pantry moth trap is a small, open-ended paperboard “tent” or delta with a glue floor. A species-specific lure placed inside attracts male moths, which land on the glue. Because there is no insecticide in the trap body, it can sit on shelves next to food — which is why it outsells sprays for this pest. Moths come from infested stored food, so most brands pair the trap with “clean out and store in sealed containers” guidance on the pack.

Design choices for a pantry moth trap SKU

  • Format: triangular delta (most common), flat tent, or a low-profile shelf trap that fits between jars.
  • Lure placement: lure pocket printed on the board, lure set on the glue, or a separate lure sachet the user adds.
  • Glue panel: full-floor or panel glue, with or without a printed count grid; release liner peeled at assembly.
  • Look: kitchen-friendly colors (white, kraft, sage, pastel) and clear pictogram instructions.
  • Pack: 2-, 4- or 6-packs in a folding carton or sleeve, plus refill packs with spare lures.

Lure configuration and compliance

The lure is the only active component. We configure lure type, dispenser and labeling to comply with the buyer’s market regulations, or fit the buyer’s own lure. We do not publish catch rates or lure-life claims — buyers who want performance data usually trial pre-production samples. More on dispenser types in the pheromone & lure types guide.

Channels we support

Pantry moth traps sell through grocery, home and hardware retail, e-commerce marketplaces and pest control operators servicing kitchens and food storage. For marketplace sellers we can apply FBA labels and build compact, ship-safe cartons; for PCOs, plain bulk packs with liner and lure refills. See OEM & private label or wholesale.

Frequently asked questions

Are pantry moth traps safe to use near food?

The trap body is glue and paperboard with no insecticide. We describe materials only; food-contact or safety statements on your pack should follow your market’s rules.

Can you supply the lure?

Yes — lures can be configured to comply with your market’s regulations, or we can fit your own lure.

What pack sizes are common?

Retail packs of 2, 4 or 6 traps are most common, plus refill packs. PCO bulk packs are also available.

Can I get a sample with my logo?

Yes — stock samples first, then printed pre-production samples with your artwork.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also packaging & MOQ guide.

Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?

We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner. Test reports can be discussed on request where available — ask on the inquiry form.
