Squirrel traps one- and two-door live cage traps for your brand
Squirrel traps are galvanized wire cage traps that close when the animal steps on a trigger plate. They sell through hardware, farm and garden channels and to wildlife control operators. TrapForge manufactures one- and two-door cage traps in squirrel and chipmunk sizes, with the same construction scaling to rat cage traps and down to live mouse traps.
- One-door and two-door cage formats
- Galvanized wire mesh, steel trigger plate, door locks
- Handle guard, solid floor plate, collapsible options
- Header-tag, box or nested bulk packaging
Squirrel trap formats
- One-door cage traps — door at one end, trigger plate near the closed end; compact and economical.
- Two-door cage traps — doors at both ends so the animal can see through the cage; longer body.
- Collapsible cage traps — fold flat for storage and lower freight.
- Multi-catch / repeater squirrel traps — for professional use where allowed.
Construction
Cages use galvanized wire mesh (or wire galvanized after welding for extra corrosion resistance), with a steel trigger plate, gravity or spring doors with locks, a handle guard that keeps hands away from the animal, smooth inside edges and an optional solid floor plate. Mesh size, wire gauge, cage dimensions and door style are fixed per SKU on the quotation. Powder-coated colors are available for brand differentiation.

No registration, certification or efficacy claimed. We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, test results, efficacy or catch/kill rates, and we do not supply rodenticides. Lures, attractants and baits can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations stay with the brand owner.
Frequently asked questions
One-door or two-door squirrel trap?
One-door traps are compact and cheaper; two-door traps are longer and open at both ends. Many ranges carry both.
Can I relocate squirrels I catch?
Trapping, holding and relocating wildlife such as squirrels is regulated by state and local rules in the US (and by national rules elsewhere). Buyers are responsible for usage instructions and labeling that fit each market; we print the text your team approves.
Do you make larger cage traps too?
Yes — the same platform scales to rat-size and larger cages; see rat traps.
Do you make claims about humane, instant or guaranteed results?
No. We describe trap mechanisms, materials and sizes only. Any humane, welfare, kill-speed or performance statement on your packaging is your decision under your market’s rules, and some markets regulate trap types — we print the label text your team approves.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also packaging & MOQ guide.
