Mouse trap types we quote
- Plastic snap mouse traps — PP or ABS jaws with interlocking teeth, a steel torsion spring, a large press-to-set pedal and a removable bait cup. The best-selling modern format; sold in 2-, 4-, 6- and 12-packs.
- Wooden snap mouse traps — classic wood base, steel wire bail, spring and trigger. Very low unit cost; sold in bulk multipacks.
- Live-catch mouse traps — clear tunnel, tip-style and small cage traps with one-way doors; see live mouse trap.
- Electronic mouse traps — battery-powered chamber traps with an indicator light; the mouse-sized version of our electronic rat traps.
- Multi-catch mouse traps — galvanized steel or plastic repeater boxes for PCOs, often with a glue board insert.
- Station-mounted traps — snap traps sized to sit inside a bait station housing.
Construction and materials
Snap traps combine a spring-steel torsion spring (zinc-plated or coated against rust) with a PP or ABS body, or a kiln-dried wood base with steel wire for the classic format. Specification points we fix per SKU include spring wire gauge, jaw shape and tooth pattern, pedal size and trigger sensitivity, bait cup design (removable, scented-insert ready) and an optional cover that hides the catch. Electronic and live-catch traps add battery compartments, clear PP or PET bodies and door mechanisms — see the housing materials guide.
Building a mouse trap range
Most private label brands carry a good–better–best ladder: wooden snap traps for price, plastic snap traps as the volume SKU, and live-catch or electronic traps at the top, plus mouse glue traps where local rules allow. Rat-sized versions of the same formats are on rat trap. We can quote the whole ladder together and pack it in mixed cartons — see wholesale.

Frequently asked questions
Plastic or wooden snap traps — which should I stock?
Wooden traps win on unit price; plastic traps are easier to set and clean and usually sell at a higher price point. Many ranges carry both.
Do you make mouse traps that don’t kill?
Yes — clear tunnel, tip and small cage traps. See live mouse traps.
Can the trap be in our brand color?
Yes. Custom colors are quoted per color run; standard colors start lower.
Do you make claims about humane, instant or guaranteed results?
No. We describe trap mechanisms, materials and sizes only. Any humane, welfare, kill-speed or performance statement on your packaging is your decision under your market’s rules, and some markets regulate trap types — we print the label text your team approves.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also packaging & MOQ guide.
Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?
We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner. Test reports can be discussed on request where available — ask on the inquiry form.
