Moth trap types
Pantry moth traps target moths that infest stored food — flour, cereal, rice, nuts, dried fruit and pet food. They are folding delta or tent traps placed on pantry shelves; see pantry moth traps. Clothes moth traps are flat or triangular glue traps placed in wardrobes, drawers and closets, often with a hanger hook so they can sit on the rail between garments.
Stored-product monitoring traps are the professional version: larger delta traps, replaceable glue liners and lure dispensers used by pest control operators in food plants, warehouses and retail backrooms. Buyers usually want the same trap body in a retail pack and a PCO refill pack.
Lures and attractants
Most moth traps rely on a pheromone lure specific to the target species, held in a dispenser (rubber septum, polymer strip, membrane or laminate) that sits on or above the glue. Lures can be supplied separately in sealed foil pouches or pre-set in the trap. Lure selection, dosage and labeling are configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; we do not make claims about lure life or catch performance. Our pheromone & lure types guide explains the options.
Materials and construction
Trap bodies are printed coated paperboard (folding delta and tent traps) or PP sheet for moisture-resistant versions. The floor carries a non-drying glue panel, sometimes with a printed grid for counting. Folding traps ship flat and are assembled by the user, which keeps freight low. Clothes moth traps are often designed to look discreet — neutral colors, small footprint and a minimal print.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a pantry moth trap and a clothes moth trap?
They target different moth species, so the lure is different, and the format differs: pantry traps are delta/tent traps for shelves, clothes moth traps are flat or hanging traps for wardrobes.
Do you supply the pheromone lures?
Lures can be configured to comply with your market’s regulations, supplied separately or pre-set in the trap. You can also send your own lures for us to fit.
Can I get the same trap in retail and PCO packs?
Yes — one trap body can be packed as a retail multipack and as a professional refill pack.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also packaging & MOQ guide.
Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?
We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner. Test reports can be discussed on request where available — ask on the inquiry form.
