Rodent trap types
- Plastic snap traps (mouse and rat sizes) — PP/ABS jaws with a steel spring and a removable bait cup; easy to set and the best-selling modern format.
- Wooden snap traps — classic, low-cost wood base with wire bail; sold in multipacks.
- Live-catch traps — single-door or two-door cages and tunnel traps for catch-and-release markets.
- Multi-catch traps — metal or plastic repeater boxes used by PCOs, often with a glue board insert.
- Underground traps — gopher traps (claw, box and loop) and mole traps (scissor, harpoon and loop) for lawn and garden channels.
Materials and finish
Springs and jaws use spring steel; exposed steel is galvanized, zinc-plated or powder-coated for corrosion resistance, especially for underground traps. Plastic bodies are PP or ABS, and color is a common brand differentiator (black for discretion, bright colors for visibility). Bait cups, triggers and safety catches are configurable. For housings around traps see bait station housings and the housing materials guide.
Building a rodent control range
A typical private label rodent range combines snap traps, mouse glue traps, a rat bait station housing and, for lawn and garden, gopher and mole traps. We can quote the whole range together and fill a mixed container — see wholesale.

Frequently asked questions
Do you make both mouse and rat snap traps?
Yes — plastic and wooden snap traps in mouse and rat sizes.
Do you supply rodenticide baits?
No. We supply trap hardware and empty station housings only. Any bait used with our housings must comply with the buyer’s market regulations.
Do you make claims about humane or instant kills?
No. We describe trap mechanisms and materials only. Any humane, welfare or kill-speed statement on your packaging is your decision under your market’s rules, and some markets regulate trap types — we adapt labeling to the text your team approves.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also packaging & MOQ guide.
Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?
We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner. Test reports can be discussed on request where available — ask on the inquiry form.
