Bed bug traps are mostly monitoring hardware: interceptor cups that sit under bed and furniture legs, and low monitors placed near where people rest. TrapForge manufactures interceptor cups, pitfall and harborage monitors and sticky monitors for pest control operators, hotel and multifamily suppliers and household brands. No insecticide is supplied.

Interceptor cups
An interceptor cup (also called a climb-up or pitfall interceptor) is a shallow molded dish with an outer well and an inner well; the bed or furniture leg sits in the center. The outer wall is textured so insects can climb in, and the inner walls are smooth so they cannot climb out — some buyers specify a dusting of talc for the inner surface. Cups are made in PP or PS, white or dark, in diameters that fit common bed and sofa legs, with an optional larger size for casters.
Monitors
- Harborage monitors — small cardboard or plastic refuges with narrow slots, placed behind headboards and along bed frames.
- Sticky monitors — low glue boards or folded cards for bed frames and baseboards.
- Active monitors — housings designed to hold an attractant or heat/CO₂ source; the attractant is configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations or supplied by the buyer.

Do interceptor cups contain insecticide?
No. They are plastic hardware. Any powder or attractant a buyer adds is the buyer’s decision under their market’s rules.
Do bed bug traps get rid of bed bugs?
We describe the hardware only; interceptors and monitors are generally used for monitoring. Any claim about results is the brand owner’s decision under their market’s rules.
Can you make larger cups for casters?
Yes — larger diameters are available on request.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?
We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner. Test reports can be discussed on request where available — ask on the inquiry form.
