Mosquito traps draw mosquitoes toward light, an attractant or a dark water-like opening, then hold them with a fan, a catch chamber or a glue card. TrapForge manufactures indoor and outdoor trap hardware — housings, fans, light modules, lure holders and catch chambers — built to your electrical specification, with lures configured to comply with your market’s regulations.

Mosquito trap types
- Indoor fan-suction traps — a UV or LED light above a quiet fan that pulls insects into a removable catch chamber or net; USB or mains powered.
- Outdoor fan traps — larger, weather-resistant housings with a fan, light and a lure holder for an attractant cartridge.
- Sticky gravid-style traps — dark containers that mimic an egg-laying site with a removable glue card; no power needed.
- Glue-card light units — light plus sticky card, shared with our insect light range.
Attractants
Many mosquito traps use an attractant cartridge or sachet. Attractants are configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations, supplied by the buyer, or omitted. Some outdoor trap designs elsewhere use CO₂ from propane or cylinders; those involve fuel and pressure components that we only quote to a buyer’s full appliance specification. Construction
Housings are ABS or PP; fans are low-voltage DC; light modules are UV or LED; catch chambers are removable trays, nets or drawers. Plug type, voltage, battery and electrical standard follow the buyer’s specification, and we do not claim any listing by default. Refill SKUs — lure cartridges, glue cards, spare nets — are designed alongside the trap.

Lures, attractants and baits can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations stay with the brand owner.
Frequently asked questions
Indoor or outdoor mosquito trap?
Indoor traps are small, quiet USB or mains units; outdoor traps are larger and often use a lure holder. Many brands carry one of each.
Do you supply mosquito lures?
Lures can be configured to comply with your market’s regulations, supplied by you, or left out.
Are your electronic units UL, ETL or CE listed?
We do not claim any electrical listing or certification by default. Electronic units are built to the electrical standard, plug type and battery configuration the buyer specifies, and test reports can be discussed on request where available.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on size, printing and packaging (stock formats in neutral packaging start lower than custom-printed or custom-molded items); lead time depends on printing, tooling and season. Are your traps EPA registered, certified or tested for catch rates?
We supply trap hardware — trap bodies, glue boards, sticky cards and station housings. We do not claim EPA or state pesticide registration, certifications, efficacy or catch/kill rates. Where a lure, attractant or bait is part of the finished product, it can be configured to comply with the buyer’s market regulations; registration and labeling obligations for any pesticidal component stay with the brand owner.
